Gamma Iota Omicron strives for the excellence of its members. As an organization, the primary goal is to graduate the members, while providing the skills needed to excell even after graduation. While providing the necessary essentials to excel as  scholar and a brother, Gamma Iota Omicron strives to give back to the community that has given much for the organization. In turn, the organization seeks to help out in many ways. From helping out in distinct conferences to philanthropic events to help raise money for the American Diabetes Association. Anything that the organization can do, GIO is there to help.

Gamma Iota Omicron is a community based organization, meaning we have strong ties to our community by virtue of participation within our community. Although we may seem to be Latino based, Gamma Iota Omicron does not discriminate against any ethnic group and welcomes all Men that are interested in the Gallo experience. Latino Based simply refers to an emphasis in uniting Men that are interested in celebrating and promoting primarily the Latino culture.

 

Mission Statement:

Gamma Iota Omicron will help individuals graduate first and foremost, while allowing individuals and the organization to grow. By giving the individuals the proper tools for development one can insure that they are able to reach their true potential. However, family, friends, and community is always necessary and must not be forgotten during ones lifelong journey.
